Accessibility Statement
Accessibility Statement
Effective Date: July 18, 2026 The Avyn Craig Memorial Foundation is committed to providing a welcoming and accessible online experience for the widest possible audience, including individuals with disabilities. We believe that every person should be able to access information about our mission, scholarships, programs, donations, and community-impact opportunities.
Our Accessibility Efforts
We are continually working to improve the accessibility, usability, and clarity of our website. Our efforts may include: Providing meaningful headings and page structure Using readable text and sufficient visual contrast Adding alternative text to meaningful images Supporting keyboard navigation where possible Using descriptive links and buttons Providing labels and instructions for online forms Reviewing pages for mobile and assistive-technology usability Offering information in an alternative format upon request We aim to follow recognized accessibility practices, including the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, commonly known as WCAG. W3C recommends that an accessibility statement include a commitment to accessibility, the standard being followed, and a method for users to report difficulty.
Ongoing Improvements
Accessibility is an ongoing process. Our website, content, forms, documents, and third-party tools may change over time. Although we make reasonable efforts to maintain an accessible website, some content or features may not yet be fully accessible. This may include older documents, externally hosted services, embedded content, donation platforms, application tools, or third-party websites that are not fully controlled by the Foundation.
Requesting Assistance
Please contact us if you: Experience difficulty accessing any part of the website Need assistance completing a form Need information in a different format Encounter a barrier while using assistive technology Have suggestions for improving accessibility When contacting us, please include the page address or describe the content, form, or feature involved. We will make reasonable efforts to provide the requested information or assistance in an accessible alternative format.
